Update 16 February 2026
Works are progressing well to the new cemetery, with ditches cleared, hedges laid, a stone memorial wall and boundary stock fence installed and pathways near completion. However we have had to pause the final stages of landscaping for a time due to the extremely wet weather conditions..
In February a volunteer work party will be planting 1,400 native plant species to create a new boundary hedge.
The cemetery will not be open for interments as early this year as originally planned, hopefully late summer - please keep an eye on this page for updates.
